HARTFORD – State Representative Chris Aniskovich (R-35) and Senator Norm Needleman (D-33) be hosting an in-person Pura Informational Forum for area residents who are interested in learning more about the role the quasi-judicial agency plays in rate regulation.

Monday, May 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
WHERE:
Westbrook Town Hall, 866 Boston Post Road, Westbrook
Marissa Paslick Gillett, Chairman of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority will provide background information on the authority, what they regulate, who they are, how the public can engage with them, accessing PURA docket materials, monthly electric bills and third-party suppliers. Additionally, there will also be a question-and-answer period provided at the conclusion of the forum.

Sen. Needleman represents the 33rd Senate District which covers the towns of Chester, Clinton, Colchester, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Old Lyme, Saybrook, Portland and Westbrook.
