Lawmaker Recognized by Connecticut’s Leading Business Organization

HARTFORD –The Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) has recently released their ‘State House Voting Records’ annual report for 2023 and State Representative Chris Aniskovich (R-35) has received a 100% score for his votes on key bills that impact Connecticut’s economic growth and business climate.

The Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) ranked all state lawmakers based on their support for the business community’s positions on 10 important policies. Votes that support the business community’s position would reflect positively, while votes against would result in a lowered score. The bills all affect job creation, small business growth and economic stability in Connecticut.

“I’m proud to have been recognized by CBIA for my support of pro-business policies and opposition to the types of mandates and restrictions the legislature may impose that would make their individual success more difficult,” said Rep. Aniskovich.

CBIA’s policy initiatives feature in a number of the bills, with those recommendations designed to help alleviate the high cost of insurance, increase workforce development, and create and retain jobs. They are Connecticut’s leading business organization – with a membership comprised of hundreds of small, medium and large-sized businesses around the state. ,
