Last week, I had another opportunity to visit a local school in my district as part of Read Across America. I’d like to send out my appreciation to Joel Elementary School for inviting me back for a second straight year and to Mrs. Clados and her second-grade class for having me as a guest reader.
Regardless of the schools I’ve had an opportunity to read in, the educators and staff really do a fantastic job at making this annual event engaging and fun for not only the students, but also visitors like myself.
