Here’s a recap of what your State Representative achieved:
Secured Over $685K in State Infrastructure Funds
- $543K for upgrades to the Clinton Public Works & Emergency Management Building
- $143K for boat ramp improvements in Clinton
- $275K for Westbrook shoreline and breakwater projects
- These funds support public safety, promote recreation, and drive local economic growth


Backed Job Training & Innovation
Co-sponsored HB 1179 to expand MakerspaceCT, fueling hands-on skills training and entrepreneurship. Visited their Hartford location to see how this investment is transforming lives.

Voted NO on the $55.8 Billion State Budget
Chris voted against the bloated state budget that:
- Eliminated the Child Tax Credit
- Raised taxes and fees by nearly $2 billion
- Ignored special education needs
He instead supports a smarter, House Republican budget that:
✅ Cuts waste
✅ Boosts Medicaid rates
✅ Freezes government raises
✅ Supports healthcare and education without hurting families

Defended Local Zoning Rights
Voted NO on HB 5002, rejecting mandates that:
- Force towns into rigid 25% affordable housing quotas
- Threaten to withhold infrastructure grants
- Force towns to pay developers’ legal fees
“Small towns like Clinton, Killingworth, and Westbrook are already doing their part; Hartford shouldn’t punish us for it.”

Supporting First Responders & Their Families
Proud co-sponsor of SB 1239, which:
✅ Renames the Fallen Officer Fund to include firefighters
✅ Extends death and health benefits to surviving families
✅ Honors the legacy of those who gave everything

Strengthening Global Trade & Ties
- Helped pass the Puerto Rico–Connecticut Trade Commission bill as Commerce Committee Ranking Member
- Met with the Swedish Ambassador to promote international innovation
- Continued collaboration through the Ireland Trade Commission

Honoring Service & Sacrifice
- Participated in Clinton’s Memorial Day Parade
- Honored the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department at their annual banquet
- Celebrated the passing of Women Veterans Day (PA 25-20)

- Sponsored Women’s History Month Essay Contest with Westbrook 6th graders
