With the legislative session underway and the committee process in full-swing, I wanted to share some helpful resources to make your voice heard in state government.

In order to make it easier to find all the information you need in one place, the House Republican Caucus created an online virtual meeting guide with information, resources and links to help you follow what’s happening in the General Assembly. Vaccine Eligibility Expanded to Ages 65+

Starting on Thursday, February 11th, residents between the ages of 65 and 74 will be eligible to schedule vaccination appointments. Currently “Phase 1b” is only open to those ages 75 and over, eventually this phase will include frontline essential workers and those ages 16-64 with certain pre-existing conditions. Appointments can be made online or by phone.

Starting this Monday, the state’s vaccine appointment assistance line will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. seven days a week. The phone number to call for vaccination scheduling is: 877-918-2224. Scheduling is also available via the link below:

Update on Vaccine Distribution

Clinics across our state have currently administered over 425,000 doses of the vaccine including roughly 340,000 first doses and over 80,000 second doses. Currently we are in “Phase 1b” of distribution with scheduling currently open for those 75 and older. Scheduling is available online or over the phone Connecticut’s Vaccine Appointment Assist Line 877-918-2224 is available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Due to high volume, hold times may vary. 211 Connecticut also has a directory to find clinics across the region.
