On Wednesday, the House and Senate both passed legislation to suspend Connecticut’s 25 cent per gallon gas tax, which would begin on April 1st and end on June 30th. Important Government Administration and Elections Committee Public Hearing on Friday

On Friday, March 4 at 10:00 A.M. ,the Government Administration and Elections (GAE) Committee will hold a public hearing regarding two bills (S.B. #184 and H.B. #5262) that could impact our November 2022 state-wide election. These bills add a seventh reason for absentee voting that is not in the state constitution. That new reason would be the existence of the COVID-19 illness, not the illness of the actual voter.
