Friends and Neighbors,
On Friday, Governor Lamont announced Executive Order 7H – aimed at further limiting the spread of coronavirus by declaring policies to close all “non-essential” businesses from March 23 through April 22, 2020.
The executive order establishes a “Stay Safe, Stay Home” policy that orders the shutdown of all non-essential businesses in the state effective at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23nd.
Late Sunday, state economic development officials released guidance designed to give business owners, their employees, and residents better understanding of what is and isn’t open. Click here to read the list.
It’s important to remember that critical businesses such as grocery stores, pharmacies, and financial institutions will remain open.
Just as reminder, the state continues to maintain a web portal with the most up-to-date information and statistics on COVID-19, as well as a Frequently Asked Questions document that is updated regularly.
