Reps. Ackert and Zawistowski Honor Principal of the Year at the Capitol

HARTFORD – State Representatives Tim Ackert (R-8) and Tami Zawistowski (R-61) honored Suffield resident and Coventry High School Principal Joseph Blake who was awarded Connecticut Principal of the Year by the Connecticut Association of Schools.

Reps. Ackert and Zawistowski presented an official citation from the Connecticut General Assembly to Principal Blake on the House Floor during session on May, 15th. He was joined at the Capitol by Coventry Superintendent Dr. David Petrone and his wife Valentina Blake and his two children Lexi and Bobby. Principal Blake was awarded Vice-Principal of the Year by the association in 2014 in recognition of his work at Suffield High School.
