HARTFORD – Knowing the importance of being present for the district, State Representative Tim Ackert (R-8) for the eighth consecutive year has earned a one hundred percent voting record for roll call votes taken on the floor of the House of Representatives during the 2019 Regular and Special Sessions.

Each year, the House Clerk’s Office releases the data on members’ votes during the Regular Session. This year there were 392 roll call votes taken in the House of Representatives

“Connecticut has a ‘part-time’ legislature, but during session it is a full time responsibility. I take great pride in maintaining a perfect voting record and being strong presence in the House of Representatives during debates,” said Rep. Ackert. “It is an honor to represent the residents of Columbia, Coventry, Tolland and Vernon in the House and I look forward to the next session in February.”

Rep. Ackert currently serves as a member of the legislature’s Energy and Technology Committee, the Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee, and the General Law Committee. He also serves the House Republican Caucus as an Assistant Leader and a member of the important Bill Screening Committee.
