This week, the House passed HB 5413 increasing penalties for organizers and participants of street takeovers.

The Bottom Line: this bill helps deter crime, but doesn’t solve it. By supporting police recruitment initiatives, investing in our youth, and encouraging safer social media use, we can unite to end these episodes of dangerous lawlessness throughout Connecticut.

I hope this bill finds the same unanimous support in the Senate and in the governor’s office. To read more about HB 5413 or any other

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Early voting for the 2024 Presidential Primary has officially begun and will continue for the following days: March 26, 27, 28, and 30. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to experience early voting, or as I say, expanded voting, with the hardworking employees at Coventry Town Hall.

Check out my video above as I go through the newly-implemented expanded voting process in my hometown of Coventry, CT. Although there are kinks to be worked out, I want to extend my gratitude
