(COVENTRY) — On May 9th, State Representative Tim Ackert (R-8) joined Hytone Farm, LLC of Coventry, CT as they unveiled their AG-Grid Anaerobic Digester to effectively reduce methane emissions from local food and animal waste. Owner, Greg Peracchio, was joined by federal and state legislators, agricultural commissioners, and Rashi Akki, CEO of Ag-Grid Energy, during the ceremony.

“I am excited to see the benefits of this remarkable technology right here in Coventry,” said Rep. Ackert. “The Peracchio family is committed to promoting the Connecticut Farm Energy Program as well as CTGrown.org to be the leading example of revolutionary agriculture and pollution reduction in our state.
