During this legislative session, we have seen some terrible bills come before us that will ultimately prove to be very costly to the people who call Connecticut home. H.B. No. 6688: An Act Concerning A Highway Use Fee, fits nicely into that category.

A “highway usage fee”, otherwise known as another TAX, would prove extremely costly to all of us. If the bill passes Tuesday, it will be taken up in the Senate prior to midnight on Wednesday.

HARTFORD – The Connecticut General Assembly (CGA) Conservative Caucus today blasted Democrats for voting to automatically erase hate crimes from the records of convicted felons, weakening the Judicial system and making Connecticut less safe with passage of their “Clean Slate” legislation.
