HARTFORD – State Rep. Rich Smith, R-New Fairfield, today said the Sept. 4 party line vote by majority Democrats to rubber stamp the governor’s request to simply extend emergency executive orders during the pandemic should be revisited by the legislature so members can thoroughly address the numerous restrictions and requirements put in place last March.
