Please see below for an update from Governor Lamont announcing a plan to improve rail service throughout Connecticut. The plan calls for improved service time and frequency, modernization of our rail infrastructure, and investment in new rail cars.

As co-chair of the legislature’s bipartisan Waterbury Rail Line Caucus, I am hopeful that this plan will lead to upgrades along the Waterbury branch, which services an area of the state with unlimited economic potential.
