Letter to the Rivereast: Important Bills Moving Forward

Vaccination Appointments Now Available for Ages 16+

Starting today, all residents ages 16 and up will become eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Priority will be given to those aged 16 to 44 with certain high-risk conditions, including:

  • Sickle cell disease
  • End-stage renal disease on dialysis
  • Active cancer treatment
  • Solid organ transplant
  • Down syndrome
  • All patients of Connecticut Children’s and Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital

Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are expected to have access to dedicated clinics organized
