State Bond Commission Finalizes $250,000 for Plainfield’s Recreation Facility Master Plan

HARTFORD, CT – Senator Heather Somers (R-Groton), Representatives Anne Dauphinais (R-Killingly), and Doug Dubitsky (R-Chaplin) announced that the State Bond Commission has given final approval for funding the Town of Plainfield’s Recreation Facility Master Plan at its meeting on Friday. The Commission’s allocation of $250,000 will be directed toward community engagement and a comprehensive town-wide planning study for the Parks and Recreation Department.

HARTFORD— On Friday, State Representative Doug Dubitsky acknowledged three anticipated bonding allocations on the State Bond Commission agenda scheduled for next week.

In Norwich, $2,000,000 will be used for public improvements at Howard T. Brown Memorial Park. In December, Rep. Dubitsky joined with the Norwich delegation in a letter of strong support of the Norwich Waterfront Revitalization Project.
