Once again, Connecticut’s tax burden is among the highest of any state in the nation. Residents in our state need to work longer than residents in 45 other states to pay their local, state and federal tax bills.

Waterbury Police offer home pick-up of unused RX

The Waterbury Police Department recently announced they will now provide home pick-up of unwanted medication for Waterbury seniors and the homebound on the first Wednesday of each month.

For this service, reservations with Waterbury Vice Squad Officers must be made in advance. If you are interested, please call 203-574-6903 to arrange a pick-up.

On Saturday, April 27, the Waterbury Police Department, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency and National Drug Take Back Day, is hosting a prescription drug drop-off at their 255 East Main St. location from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
