Cooley honors Farmington Veterans

FARMINGTON – State Rep. Francis Cooley (R-22) was privileged to attend and give remarks at Farmington’s Korean-era and Vietnam-era Veterans ceremonies on Monday honoring their wartime service with a Connecticut Wartime Service Metal.

I was joined by the Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, State Rep. Mike Demicco, State Sen. Derek Slap in partnership with the town of Farmington and the state Department of Veterans Affairs.

Martin & Cooley Co-Host Successful Plainville Forum to Discuss Facts About Proposed Ban of Gas-Powered Vehicles

PLAINVILLE- State Senator Henri Martin (R-31) and State Rep. Francis Cooley (R-22) co-hosted a packed forum at the Plainville Public Library about the proposed ban of gas-powered vehicles. The forum was focused on explaining the facts about the proposed ban.

The first phase is scheduled to begin in 2027 and the proposed regulations call for a complete ban on the sales of new gas-powered vehicles by 2035. Many people need an affordable and reliable gas-powered car in order to get to work each day,
