Hartford – As part of the 2018 Connecticut Trails Weekend, State Representatives Tami Zawistowski (R-61) and Scott Storms (R-60) will host a walk along the Canal State Park Trail starting in Suffield on Saturday, June 2nd from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The walk will being at the Suffield Canal parking area off of Route 159/East Street.
Participants will enjoy a seven mile round trip on moderate trails with some uneven terrain. The walk is stroller and bicycle accessible, dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all times.
There is no rain date scheduled.
Connecticut Trails Day is sponsored by the Connecticut Forest and Park Association (CFPA), which has been a devoted advocate of Connecticut’s state park system and natural resources for quite some time.
