Enfield – State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-61) recently toured Phoenix Manufacturing with other members of the North Central Connecticut legislative delegation at their new facility on South Road in Enfield. Phoenix Manufacturing was founded 29 years ago by the Paluch family as a two person machine shop and now employs over 60 people to make commercial and military aerospace components. The tour was led by CEO Krystyna Paluch, her son Peter Paluch and her daughter Martha Prou. They shared their company’s recent progress as a supplier to major aerospace companies and the difficulties of finding qualified employees. Representative Zawistowski is a member of the legislature’s Manufacturing Caucus and has supported initiatives to improve access to technical education and modernize regulations for manufacturers.
