State Rep. Tami Zawistowski toured exhibits and spoke with students, industry executives, and advocates during the annual School Manufacturing ConnecCTion Fair at the Capitol.  The event is put on in cooperation between the legislature’s Manufacturing Caucus and the CT Office of Manufacturing.

During the Fair, Rep. Zawistowski met with representatives from many businesses, including Collins Aerospace who were on hand to promote their cutting edge technology business which has been a Windsor Locks

2024 Center Line Rumble Strip Project in Suffield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) announced that center line and shoulder rumble strip work will be performed on multiple routes, including in Suffield starting Monday, April 1, 2024 and continuing through Friday, October 11, 2024.

The affected local routes are:

  • Route 585 – Suffield – Route 168 To Massachusetts State Line
  • Route 159 – Suffield – Northbound Junction Route 190 To Massachusetts State Line
  • Route 168 – Suffield – Service Road 585 (Babbs Road) To South Stone Street

Information About Early Voting

Early voting was approved by Connecticut voters in 2022. During the 2023 legislative session, the General Assembly authorized in-person early voting for elections held after April 1, 2024. Under this schedule, the first election utilizing early voting will be the Presidential Preference Primary on April 2, 2024.

The early voting dates for this election have been modified to reflect the Good Friday holiday and Easter Sunday. Early Voting will be held Tuesday, March 26 through
