Rep. Rob Sampson spoke on the House floor to express his concern, and opposition to, the compromise budget plan during special session on Thursday, October 26, 2017. The budget passed the Senate early Thursday 33-3, and later passed the house in a 126-23 vote.
Rep. Sampson appreciated the work that went into this plan, but argued that the budget did not go far enough to reduce spending, reduce taxes and implement meaningful structural reform.
