State Representative Stephanie Cummings (R-74) and community partner FD Community Federal Credit Union are co-sponsoring an upcoming “shred day” on Saturday, October 7, 2017, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in the FD Community Federal Credit Union parking lot located at 281 Meriden Rd. in Waterbury.

Rep. Cummings urges people to bring their old and unwanted documents and papers to have them quickly and professionally shredded into unreadable scraps by Shred-it.

This event is free and open to the public.

Shred-it’s proprietary cross-cut shredding technology turns your sensitive paperwork into confetti-sized pieces ranging from less than an inch to as small as an eighth of an inch, giving you peace of mind knowing your confidential documents can’t be reproduced or recreated.
