Eemax, Inc. of Oxford is being recognized by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund as a 2012 Connecticut Green Business Honoree. Eemax manufactures electric tankless water heaters and related products for use in commercial, industrial and residential applications. The company is being honored for its green products that save water, conserve energy and reduce costs. Rep. Labriola would like to commend Eemax for their ability to both contribute to the local economy and help improve our environment.

Representatives Rosa Rebimbas and David Labriola applauded the House’s unanimous passage of a bill that will increase the use of a life saving drug for those suffering from an opiate overdose. The lawmakers co-sponsored and voted in favor of HB 5063 – AAC Treatment for a Drug Overdose. The bill aims to allow a broader group of people, including friends, family members, partners and others, to obtain a prescription for Narcan.
Narcan is an opiate antagonist that is used to counteract drug overdoses.…
