Rep. Labriola appeared on WFSB’s Face the State with host Dennis House and Rep. Fleischman to discuss the national popular vote.

The National Popular Vote bill would guarantee the Presidency to the presidential candidate who receives the most popular votes. Under the U.S. Constitution, the states have exclusive and complete power to allocate their electoral votes, and may change their state laws concerning the awarding of their electoral votes at any time.

State Senator Rob Kane and State Representative David Labriola, who represent Oxford in the Connecticut General Assembly, said today that the governor’s proposed taxes on the aviation industry will result in the mass migration of aircraft from Connecticut and deal a huge financial blow to Oxford Airport.
