The Waterford-East Lyme Shellfish Commission (WELSCO) public hearing being held this Thursday, May 17th at 6:30 p.m. at the Waterford Town Hall (15 Rope Ferry Road) is for public input on WELSCOs changes to their 2002 Aquaculture Policy Statement.
This public hearing is not being held to specifically receive comments on the Niantic Bay Shellfish Farm.
Please know that a copy of the proposed Aquaculture Policy is available for review at both the Waterford and East Lyme Town Clerk’s Offices, or on East Lyme’s website.
