HARTFORD- State Representative Christie Carpino (Cromwell & Portland), established a near perfect record for votes cast on the floor of the state House of Representatives during the 2014 legislative session, according to the House Clerk’s Office.

Representative Carpino was present and voted for 308 of the 309 votes taken on the state House floor during the 2014 session, according to the House Clerk’s Office. She was present but excused herself from the House Chamber and abstained for a possible conflict of interest on the one remaining vote of an executive nomination due to a previous personal association.

Representative Carpino, as the House Ranking Member on the General Assembly’s Program Review and Investigations Committee, is one of the leaders in the House Republican Caucus. “My goal is to make sure the people of Cromwell and Portland have a strong voice in Hartford. My vote represents their voice on the House floor,” said Representative Carpino.

Carpino’s prior 3 years as a state representative also reflects her commitment and reveal a 100% voting record on the House floor.
