2015 Major Public Acts

Several pieces of legislation were debated and passed by the General Assembly during the 2015 Legislative Session and a Special Session that focused on the implementation of the biennium budget.
To help keep you informed, the non-partisan Office of Legislative Research (OLR) has released summaries of the “2015 Major Public Acts.”
Topics outlined in the report includes expansion to social services and resources, fixed charges on residential electric bills, and improvements to our state’s education system. Additionally, the state’s biennium budget is addressed, further explaining changes to town aid and property tax initiatives.
