HARTFORD – State Representative Bill Buckbee (R-New Milford) welcomed Kimberly Farm to the Capitol during today’s House Session. Kimberly Farm has been family-owned and operated in New Milford since 1955.

“This is hands down the best milk in the state,” Rep. Buckbee proclaimed as he addressed the Chamber. “The folks at Kimberly Farm have put forth their best efforts in providing our community fresh produce and dairy products, all of which are top quality. I want to thank John Kimberly, owner of the farm, and his daughter Maranda for coming to Hartford today.”

Kimberly Farm is located on Route 109 between New Milford and Washington and expands over 300 acres. In the spring, summer and early fall the farm offers various vegetables from corn, tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, basil, squash, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers and other great selections. In the late fall product offerings shift a little, there are pumpkins, gourds, winter squash, Indian corn, and corn stalks. In the winter season the farm offers Christmas Trees, handmade wreathes, grave blankets and custom greenery.

Kimberly Farm products can be found at the local Big Y, 3 Brothers Diner, and the local farmer’s market. For additional information, check out the farm’s official Facebook page @Kimberlyfarm1955.
