Stand Down 2016

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This is just a reminder to all veterans, and those who may know a veteran, that the Department of Connecticut Veterans Affairs is hosting a Stand Down event tomorrow, September 23, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., to provide access to much-needed services.
At this event, more than 90 agencies and organizations will be participating in providing veterans with services that include (among others):
- Recovery-based mental health and addiction services
- Medical screenings
- State and federal benefit information
- Legal assistance
- Motor vehicle assistance
- Employment and education representation
When: Friday, September 23, 2016
from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: 287 West St, Rocky Hill, CT
If needed, free transportation to the event can be provided by the CT Department of Transportation.
