HARTFORD – State Representative Tim Ackert (R-Coventry) has earned a one hundred percent voting record during the 2015 Regular Session, having voted during every single roll call vote in House of Representatives.

In his five years of service to his district, which includes Columbia, Coventry, Tolland and Vernon, Rep. Ackert has achieved a perfect record four years in a row, beginning in 2012. This year, only about 20% of his fellow representatives were able to accomplish this.

“It gives me great pride for my past four years at the House of Representatives, I haven’t missed a single vote on the floor,” said Rep. Ackert. “My goal is to be the voice of the people that I serve, and I know that by being at the Capitol and paying attention to each debate, and casting a vote with my constituents’ needs in mind, I am achieving this goal to the absolute best of my ability.”

The next regular session of the legislature will convene in February of 2016.
