Some of the services offered during this event include veterans benefits, medical, dental, recovery services, mental health, housing, employment, and education.

“These men and women have selflessly, honorably, and bravely served this great country of ours and events such as this one allow us to say thank you for your service,” Rep. Ackert said. “As a veteran myself, ensuring all branches of our military are taken care of is extremely important to me and I was honored to have had an opportunity to attend this event.”

The state’s Department of Veterans’ Affairs was the event’s lead sponsor, also working with state, federal and private agencies such as the U.S. Social Security Administration, the state’s Social Services and Judicial departments and the U.S. Department of Labor.
