HARTFORD – Knowing the importance of being present, State Representative Tim Ackert (R-8) for the 7th consecutive year has earned a one hundred percent voting record for roll call votes taken on the floor of the House of Representatives for 2018.

Each year, the House Clerk’s Office releases the data on members’ votes during the Regular Session. Achieving perfect attendance is quite difficult, with only 20% of legislators able to do so in any given year.

“Representing the residents of Coventry, Columbia, Tolland and Vernon is something I take great pride in,” Rep. Ackert said. “Being your voice and your vote for the issues that affect our district deserves my commitment 100% of the time.”

This is the seventh consecutive year Rep. Ackert received a one-hundred-percent voting record according to the House Clerk’s office.

Rep. Ackert represents the towns of Coventry, Columbia, Tolland and Vernon in the General Assembly. He is also Ranking Member of the legislature’s Energy and Technology Committee and also serves on the Commerce, Higher Education, and Insurance & Real Estate Committees.
